2010 Homeopathic treatment of cholecystic disorders in dogs (Article)

Abstract

The present investigation was undertaken to evaluate the efficacy of a homeopathic complex remedy (consisting of Andrographis panniculata 1X, Chelidonium majus 1X, Myrica ceri 1X and Chinonanthus virginicia 1X in equal proportions (0.04% V/V in syrup base) in ten dogs (six mucocele and four cholecystitis) with ultrasonographic evidence of cholecystic disorders. The homeopathic combination was found effective in treatment of cholestatic injuries in dogs as evident by clinical improvement and reversal of blood and enzyme parameters to normal status.
