Microsoft control

Yesterday I posted a notice about an upcoming conference featuring a book in which I have a chapter. When I went to look at it again in the afternoon it was only hieroglyphics, I had copied and pasted it from a powerpoint presentation and took it for granted that it would work even though I got a warning that my Microsoft Office Trial had expired. I have used trials for several months. With my new hardrive there is of course no old Office software. The trials have become so short that I am tired of downloading them.
