The position is based at Aldermoor Health Centre in the Primary Care and Population Sciences Academic Unit. The post holder will be working on a NIHR School for Primary Care Research funded study, entitled “Qualitative study on community pharmacists’ perspectives of recommending herbal medicine in acute infections”. The post holder will primarily be responsible for participant recruitment, qualitative data collection, interviewing community pharmacists, and analysis of data. You will be educated to degree level and must have a PhD or equivalent professional qualification and experience in qualitative research. You will possess excellent organisational and communication skills. Previous experience of qualitative research is essential and experience of interviewing health professionals would be preferable. Excellent word processing, communication skills and a good eye for detail are essential requirements for this post. This post is offered part time for a period of 9 months and is available from 1st April 2019. The title of Research Fellow will be applied upon successful completion of the PhD. Prior to the qualification being awarded the title of Senior Research Assistant will be given.
