[IGSF] Events in September

Hello from the Institute for Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies

With Indigenous Awareness Week (September 21 -25th) at McGill just around the corner, it's exciting that Ashley Burnham, a Cree woman from Alberta, was just crowned Mrs. Universe 2015 at an event held in Minsk, Belarus. She is the first First Nations woman and the first Canadian to win. Instead of listening to what she’s had to say, critics have called her “too political” for voicing her opinions. Share your thoughts with us on Facebook or Twitter.

Please take a look at our upcoming events below, we look forward to seeing you again!
