The successful candidate’s research will focus on processes of social
and economic marginalization among communities and other social groups,
with particular interest in one or more of the following: environmental
degradation and ruin; disparities in access
to quality public education; poverty, class, and citizenship struggles;
public health, disease, and medical crises; and community and state
security in the city and suburbia. For this position, we would
particularly welcome applicants who have worked on the
United States.
