Call for Papers
This international one-day conference analyses the cultural and literary phenomenon of Harry Potter as the protagonist and his world(s) turn twenty. The Centre for English, Translation and Anglo-Portuguese Studies (CETAPS) of the Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa; the Centro de Investigação “Didática e Tecnologia na Formação de Formadores” (CIDTFF), of the Universidade de Aveiro, the Centro de Estudos sobre a Criança do Instituto de Educação, of the Universidade do Minho, the Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal /National Library of Portugal), Liter21. Grupo de Investigación da Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, and Elos. Asociación Galego-Portuguesa de Investigación en Literatura Infantil e X/Juvenil join the international celebrations through a one-day conference dedicated to the study of Harry Poter as a cultural and literary phenomenon, the works of J. K. Rowling (b. 1965) and their impact and influence(s).
