June 1-4, 2017, Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY
In light of the huge success of the 2014 Berkshire Conference held at the University of Toronto in collaboration with universities and co-sponsors from across Canada, the Berkshire Conference of Women Historians has set up special travel funds for Canadians participating in the 2017 Big Berks at Hofstra University. Co-host of the 2014 Toronto Big Berks, the Canadian Committee on Women’s History will work with the 2017 “Big Berks” organizers to administer the funds.
Anyone may apply, but priority will be given to the following presenters:
- Indigenous students, scholars, elders, and activists
- Graduate students and non-employed PhDs and independent scholars
Questions: Contact us at BC2017@hofstra.edu
