Recipe of the Month: Almond Mushroom Pate

Ingredients:
- 1 cup chopped almonds
- 1/4 butter (or substitute)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3/4 lbs mushrooms
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/8 tsp white pepper
- 2 T olive oil
Directions:
- Toast almonds at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes.
- Melt butter in frying pan (med heat) add onion, garlic, mushrooms, salt, thyme and pepper. Cook until soft.
- Put all ingredients in food processor and mix. Chill for at least an hour before serving.
