nothing to see here

I took some early morning pictures in my new location which is close to a nature reserve. I did not take my camera with me into the pastures, thinking of wildlife as early morning creatures. Lo and behold, two hours later a red-necked pheasant crossed one pasture and 5 minutes later a golden eagle engaged in an aerial battle with a smaller bird two feet above my head. I will wear pants with pockets tomorrow.
