On behalf of EGOS and its official journal Organization Studies we would like to draw your attention to the Call for Proposals for organizing the 7th LAEMOS conference:
The EGOS Board and the LAEMOS Support Committee invite submissions of proposals for the 7th Latin American and European Meeting on Organization Studies in 2018
Proposals should include the following information:
(1) A local academic team with short bios of its members and information on prior organizing experience with LAEMOS, EGOS, and/or other conferences.
(2) One or more institutions based in Latin America that commit to host, organize, and take on the financial responsibility for the event.
(3) Details on the venue where LAEMOS will take place (pictures, maps, and access information are welcome).
(4) Description of a conference theme, which has potential to attract a good number of sub-theme proposals.
(5) Suggestions for both local and international keynotes.
(6) Potential dates for the conference (usually held at the end of March/early April, depending on the academic calendars in Latin America and Europe).
Please send your proposal by email to secretariat@egosnet.eu no later than July 5, 2016.
All proposals will be evaluated by the LAEMOS Support Committee, composed of experienced former LAEMOS organizers, and the EGOS Board. Submitters will be informed of the final decision by July 30, 2016.
The LAEMOS Support Committee, together with designated members of the EGOS Board provide assistance to the local team in organizational and academic matters.
