Slang and common expressions from a YouTube mushroom video

I was looking at as YouTube video on how to plug logs with mushroom plug spawn. I thought I was looking at an ordinary American white guy until he said "right" at the end of a sentence. Then he said "wetting it down".  Then he said "Good Lord willing". Then he said he won't say what he will do one day to the next because God might have another thing planned for us. Lastly he said "so I hear". He also answers viewers questions in Spanish and English. I have heard all of these expressions many times. Now I don't know if they are American or if the American was not born there.
