the revolutionary polymer preservation technique commonly called
plastination to reveal dissected bodies of these amazing creatures from
the deep sea.

The Vancouver Aquarium is very thankful to two inspiring supporters that have donated over the last month.
St.Michael's
University School from Victoria BC, organized a "Save-The-Whale" book
sale and donated all proceeds to Chester and his ongoing care.
Reese,
all the way from Texas, was so inspired by Chester and his rescue story
that instead of birthday presents this year, she asked for donations to
be made to Chester's care fund.
These
donations mean so much to all of the staff and volunteers at the
Aquarium, and we are very grateful for all of their support.
