Come and join us on Thursday, April 13th under Science World’s glittering geodesic ball as we explore the science behind the wines of the Golden Mile Bench. Science World will host an evening of lively conversation with moderator Kurtis Kolt and a panelist of BC principal wine makers on what’s behind the Okanagan Valley’s first official sub-DVA ‘Designated Viticultural Area’, the Golden Mile Bench.
The event will feature a collection of nine Golden Mile Bench wineries. Wine enthusiasts will learn; what is a sub-appellation? Why is it important to wine making? What makes the Golden Mile Bench a sub-appellation?
Guests will also enjoy wine tastings along with mouthwatering food pairings by Backyard Farm and Miradoro at Tinhorn Creek.
