updated December 31 post on Google Drive

I just went to the UPS Store to print out an essay. When I checked Google Drive the final version was not there even though I uploaded it 6 hours ago, so I had to use last night's version. I had a very slim chance of winning with the final version but I am not holding my breath over last night's version. I will stick to sending messages to myself by email from now on....................................................................................................................................

TODAY........................
To participants in the 2014 Walter Muir Whitehill Prize in Early American History—

Winiarski, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Richmond, for his essay “Lydia Prout’s Dreadfullest Thought.” The essay will be published in a forthcoming issue of The New England Quarterly.

All inquiries about the further disposition of your essay should be directed to NEQ’s incoming editor, Jonathan Chu, at jonathan.chu@umb.edu.
