Dear Russian person

Apparently you have put my book Creole Remedies of Trinidad and Tobago on a website to be downloaded. I have not checked to see if it can actually been downloaded because I am using someone else's internet and I do not want to expose it to viruses. However the website states that it has been downloaded more than 10,000 times. I don't understand the Russian calendar so I don't know how long the website has been up but I estimate a few weeks.

I have a soft copy of the book that is available for less than 742 roubles. I get $1.59 for each soft cover book. If I had collected royalties on 10,000 sales I would have been able to go to a few conferences and I would have been able to send my "in process" papers to fee-based journals and then the person who evaluated my last grant would not have been able to say that I was not active. S/he would have made another excuse I am sure, but not that one. When I saw that my grant application was going to be evaluated by a veterinary committee I told my supervisor "unfortunately" - so I am not blaming you for the grant rejection, but only pointing out that your actions do not help my career or my ability to support myself.
