Abstract
A new epicatechin derivative, alchornealaxine (1), was isolated along with nine known compounds, hyperoside. reynoutrin, guaijaverin, taxifolin-3-O-β-D-galactopyranoside, taxιfolιn-3-O-β-D-xylopyranosιde. byzantionoside B. leeaoside. syringaresinol-β-D-glucoside and β-sitosterol-β-D-glucoside from the leaves of Alchomea ìaxiflora. The structures of these compounds were determined on the basis of spectroscopic methods as well as HR-ESI-TOF-MS analysis. © 2016 ACG Publications. All rights reserved.
