As announced in December, medicinal plants and natural products in animal healthcare and veterinary medicine is again a main topic of the 65th GA Congress, 3rd-7th September 2017 in Basel, Switzerland.
The submission platform is now open: www.ga2017.ch. The deadline for the submission of abstracts is April 15th 2017.
We would like to encourage you to submit high quality scientific abstracts regarding veterinary phytopharmacology and ethnoveterinary medicine, clinical applications of natural products and herbal drug materials in animals as well as plant derived feeding additives. Our networking group is based on this scientific exchange. Accepted and presented abstracts will be published in a special issue of the peer reviewed journal Planta Medica International Open.
For the first time we will have a one-day Pre-congress Symposium on Sunday 3rd of September, organised in cooperation with the Swiss Medicinal Society for Phytotherapy (SMGP). A preliminary programme is available- please find more details in the attached document. Also for the first time we will have an own industrial exhibition with several companies from various countries presenting phytogenic feed additives, phytogenic animal medicine or other phytogenic health care products for animals. During our Pre-Congress Symposium and during the Congress we will have short lectures and a poster session.
